ALSUWAH DELIVERY SERVICES L.L.C ("ALSUWAH", "we", "us") values your privacy. To provide courier, dispatch, and delivery services across the UAE, we collect:
- Sender & Recipient Information: Full names, UAE mobile telephone numbers, pickup addresses, destination addresses, and email contacts.
- Shipment Metadata: Package dimensions, weight, declared contents description, and delivery time slot preferences.
- Verification Data: Electronic signature captured upon delivery, recipient photo identification (where required for sensitive documents), and GPS handover coordinates.
- Technical Information: IP address, browser type, and cookie identifiers utilized to maintain session integrity during booking.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your personal data is collected solely for legitimate courier logistics purposes:
- Dispatching drivers and optimizing driving routes across UAE Emirates;
- Sending real-time SMS shipment status alerts;
- Generating electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) records;
- Processing secure payment transactions in UAE Dirhams (AED);
- Complying with statutory courier and licensing obligations under Dubai DET and UAE regulatory authorities.
3. Payment Data Security
We support online payments via Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and UnionPay. All payment processing is conducted through certified, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways with 256-bit SSL encryption. ALSUWAH does not store raw credit card numbers or security CVV codes on its servers.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Personal data is disclosed only to:
- Assigned ALSUWAH couriers strictly for the purpose of completing parcel pickup and handover;
- SMS/messaging infrastructure providers for delivering automated tracking notices;
- Law enforcement or UAE judicial authorities upon formal legal request under UAE jurisdiction.
5. Data Retention & Your Rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, you have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of your personal data stored with ALSUWAH. Delivery manifests are retained for statutory accounting and licensing compliance for a period of up to 5 years, after which they are securely archived or purged.
